The truth is that they are going to raise the age of consent soon to 21 years old. Remember, in the 1800s long before women won the right to vote, Feminists successfully lobbied for state and federal governments to raise the age of consent. From the 1600s to the late 1800s, it was entirely possible for a grown man to marry a 9 or 10 year old girl, basically be a father figure for a few years and then have her as his wife and mother of his children when she's old enough. Yes times have changed but that's how it once was and as a result it produced a lot of stable relationships and large families.

So, why do I think they are going to raise the age of consent to 21 years old? Because they are already doing it for other reasons. JUUL, the popular vape company, is openly campaigning for states and the federal government to raise the age at which you can purchase tobacco products to 21 years old.

Many cities and towns across America have already raised the tobacco purchasing age from 18 to 21. This is ostensibly for "health reasons" and so less young people get hooked on tobacco, but the reality is that legislators in these places do not believe that 18 year olds are intelligent enough to make decisions about what goes into their bodies.
