Video games increase hand eye coordination by leaps and bounds. They increase critical thinking skills and give you better reaction times. Studies show games in the vain of counter strike and rainbow six tickle the part of the brain that controls our fight or flight response and trains it to better make the right decision. Something very very few other things do in the modern age.

The boards dedicated to hobbies and travel are incredibly useful. Personal experience is anecdotal at best but I learned a lot about origami and papercraft from said board. I still use the skills I learned from it. Literature can give you the best books to read if you don't act like a /b/tard when you go there.

A resource can be utilized in anyway that benefits you.
