>>8223503Because people need something to fill the void that exists and it’s shown that this void exists because Atheism in this day and age is more or less a Religion. It has leaders and prophets (Dawkins, Hitchens, Harris), Atheists get angry when you criticize their beliefs, there are Atheist holy books (The God Delusion, God is not Great, A Letter to a Christian Nation), there is an Atheist hierarchy, and they have the fedora as their special hat. In all honesty Buddhism could be considered Atheism since technically they have no higher being.
