>>8253133>I don't have a dishwasher currently but I always used them more as sanitation. I would wash everything by hand to make sure shit got out of the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I had to explain to my old roommate and my girlfriend that dishawshers won't scrub dishes and if shit is caked on it won't come off.I've seen people do that, but mostly retards/lazy people who don't fully wash their dishes. Its a waste, just spend a few more seconds washing each dish properly and its clean.
>>8253134>You do realise a washing machine cycle is roughly 90 minutes. I put my washing on at 10am once a week, so it's never on when I'm cooking. Also it's not even loud, it has an inverter. Maybe that technology doesn't exist in muttistan yet though.Sure, maybe single, pathetic losers only do one load of laundry a week. ACTUAL ACTIVE FAMILIES are doing laundry way more often and can afford the extra square footage to store the machines out of sight/hearing in their own room/closet. Many american homes also have these giant rooms called garages, typically larger than whole UK rowhouses, where we park our multiple cars and sometimes place the laundry machines so the maid can do the laundry + organize and fold it, out of the way.
I bet you british peasants would add your toilet and shower to your kitchen too if the rest of the world wasn't laughing at your miserable little overpopulated and oppressed island caliphate.
