Granted it does have a small "base" which keeps it from resting directly on whatever surface its on but there is a dirty plastic thing in the sink and I would need to remove first and then I'd need clean the sink and im not interested in all that work when I can do it the two handed way.
Though if I really wanted I could get out a metal grate thing I have that is mesh/holey and it barely fits ontop of the sink thus creating a highly elevated platform and I could put the colander on that which would free up my hands.
Anyway I just made another batch of spaghetti which will be ready in 4 min or so.
