>>8258838>The comparison with astrology is accurateNo, it isn't. That's like comparing an oven fire to the sun because they're both hot. It's not the same thing (no, this isn't a very good analogy, since both the fire and sun are actually real). Astrology is entirely supernatural and has no basis in reality. This test, however, measures actual metrics of human behavioral traits. Because these traits aren't binary (one can be introverted in most situations, but extroverted in another, and thus give the result moderately introverted, etc.); you can't specifically define them in a scientific manner, but that doesn't mean they're not based on something and rooted in reality.
The differences between T and F for instance. T people care more about facts than feelings in the large majority of situations, whereas F cares about feelings over facts in most situations. People with low T or Low F scores means they're a mix of the two personality traits. This doesn't make it the same as Birthsigns and other garbage which just give out completely generalized information that EVERYONE has in their lives. I am INTP, but when I read the traits of 3/4 of the other 'types' I don't think "yeah that could also be me", on the contrary they don't sound like me at all.
You want it to be astrology, that way you can dismiss the results of the test you don't like as nonsense, when they aren't. You can't quantify human behaviour because it's contradictory. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
