So... long story short, I work part time. I worked what I had to.
Thing is manager called me because someone flaked/cancelled their shift in the very last minute and he needs someone to cover.

No one else he calls wants to cover. I feel like I will leave a bad impression if I don't go. If there's ever lay offs, he'll probably be like "this guy was unreliable" (aka me).

I'm lazy. I would rather just play vidya all day. Fuck.

On one hand... it's not just me that is refusing. On the other, I also hate leaving people in shitty situations and this could potentially bite me in the ass in the future.

Do you think I'll face consequences if I refuse? What would you do if you just want to fuck off and spend more time for yourself instead of cover the shift?
