If you're a Chechen, an Ukrainian or just dislike Russia, like me, then chances are very high you want to avoid buying products made in Russia, because less tax dollars for Putin means less nuclear ICBMs targeted at peaceful countries.

Russian software products are also of rather shoddy quality, compared to western and asian ones. As a person, who lived in Russia for more than 30 years, I can give numerous explanations on why Russian products are non-competitive, but the discussion could easily take a good book on economics and/or sociology, particularly explaining the value of contractual agreement and honoring it, which Russians don't particularly like.
