I’ve also lived in the UK, and it is so much worse than Russia. Millions of people are just dead. They walk, they talk, they work - but they’re dead. The life and hope has gone out of them. Same in a lot of the west.
Russians always seemed so full of life, especially the younger generations. They know their country is getting better day by day and it shows.
