Make sure to try a route that you haven't been down much before. Novel experiences cause your brain to retain some plasticity, which can help improve your brains efficiency and therefore improve your mood.
It's also important to get some sun each day, even if it's only for half an hour or so. Getting sunlight on your skin catalyses chemical reactions that produce Vitamin D, which a deficiency in can affect your mood. Try setting up your computer near a window, particularly a north-facing window for maximum sun exposure.
