Sometimes I fill the knots and cracks with lacquer that matches the legs, it really depends which people I am marketing it for "eco-friendly" types who just want something to look re-used or middle class people who want something rustic but actually not rustic looking
I live in one of the wealthiest rural areas of the UK and middle-aged women will pay out of the arse for something that takes me about 12 hours but costs me about 30 quid tops. They all drive Range Rovers so I rarely even have to deliver. I would expand my operation if I could work with someone, but it would be unfair on them, because I don't have a schedule and they would most likely be out of work for half the year while I'm running away from depot injections
