How many other anons are here because sites like Instagram have become overly moderated to the point of being useless? No, I'm not trying to attack or pillage Instagram users or make 4chan look second-rate by comparison.

I'll talk about my personal experience with Instagram first. To be clear and honest, I wanted to stick with IG for a number of reasons, But, they've become so obsessed with censorship, I can't even comment the word "Monkey" in conjunction with any other word or phrase because it's apparently tagged as racist. Let alone any page containing political or firearms related content, who have bore the brunt of censorship for years now.

I moved to 4chan because i am sick and tired of having my (and others') opinions either censored or "Algorithm Sageraided" by Instagram. I don't like seeing a place that should be an open forum shut down. 4chan was, and still is, the answer.

Boards partitioned by content prevent off-topic discussion. Moderators keep it civil where it needs to be and use human judgement to distinguish what is and isn't appropriate. Threads are judged on merit alone, not which user posted them. All the unsavory content other sites try to crush (to little avail) has been moved to dedicated areas of the site, cutting down on porn dumps and other obscenities. (not /b/ of course, kek)

The question going forward isn't if sites like Instagram/Facebook?Tumblr/etc. will change, it's who can supply the largest amount of freedom and infrastructure. And without a doubt, 4chan in uniquely suited for that role.
