Is anyone else disappointed by /pol?
I’ve been coming to 4chan for years and I always had this feeling that it was home to some of the most intellectual minds on the internet, due to the nature of anonymity and no holds barred discussion.
But since 2016, I’ve seen an entire community unironically subscribe to antisemitic and satanic pedophile conspiracy theories, two things that have been debunked and debased for decades, and who also genuinely think the SJW craze is of more concern than climate change or widening wealth gaps.
I’ve actually come to the conclusion that people are dumber than I’ve realized. Shout out to all of my remaining rational lefties out there.
