I have always wanted to own a motorcycle but just riding on the back of one scared the piss out of me I don't think I could actually think my nerves would let me drive one myself

my grandpa owns a Harley but I don't think he would let me drive it I don't even know how to drive a car and I don't know if I'm strong enough to hold it up

learn on a dirtbike in the desert. ur gonna fall at first. get a dirtbike rental and ride around in the dirt. Its probably gonna suck at first but safer than learning on the street.

it doesnt snow here. its kinda convenient cause I live in a fairly crowded area with limited parking. Rain sucks but I got used to it.

You can get one that runs less than 1k if you just have access to someone with a truck and straps or a trailer.

then again riding one is all about the freedom it lends, you're more exposed to the elements which can feel good or bad depending on your stance, plus the acceleration is pretty cool too.

At any rate, any light enduro or basic 250 mini sportbike will be gentle on you as long as you respect them. Once you get on the road on two wheels someday you'll stop caring what others perceive you as.
