When you visualise something can you LITERALLY see the things that you imagine?

If so, please go into detail on how it works.
Is there an imaginary image being projected onto your inner eyelids or something? I don't understand.

If you can do this what is the point of TV and the internet? If I could produce images just by thinking, I would never need porn, tv, internet, or any other kind of entertainment ever again.

Do what? This is my point. Explain your experience of visualization. Can you literally see things?

I get a vague sense of an object's form by thinking of it, but I can't actually see anything. It's almost like feeling your way around a room in the dark.

not literally you see it in your mind almost like having an eye inside your mind and if you concentrate you see through that eye

no but closing your eyes makes visualising the images easier i can still visualise what i think about even with my eyes open

you could do that but you would need to constantly think about stuff to see and why think if you could just watch on tv
tho i do find myself a lot just siting for 20-40 mins just visualising scenarios in my head like battles ,interactions with people,how other planets would look like .how saturn would look like if it was as close to the moon , when i jack off you also visualise the women or scenario in your mind
but again that would mean that you would have to think about it so why think if you can just watch
what you were asking is like asking why do birds not just fly 24/7 they have wings dont they ?

It's sort of like a 2, but I really don't see anything. It's like I understand the object's form, and I can almost see a picture of it but if I try to focus on it, it goes away. It's very wierd.

Is this a rare thing? I've been able to do this since I was little.
The only weird thing with my visualisations is movement. Like, If I imagine a stationary wheel, for example, I can make it spin easily and look around it from any direction but I have to concentrate very hard to make it stop spinning. It's easier to just start again from blank.

Thinking of the picture in OP's post, I saw number 5 if I took the image as is. If I changed the background to white it was easier to make it full red like 6.

So...am I an NPC?

Unless you've been trying for years on end without results it's just a zoomer cope pathology. Read books and see if you can stimulate your imagination, the problem of kids is that they don't have to exhert themselves to imagine anything thanks to games and movies. I used to think i was affected by it until i got into reading.

I'll try this then. I've never been big on reading, but I do remeber conceptualizing whatvvthe characters look like while reading books as a kid. The difference is I can't just project those images into my perspective. It's more like have a vague image floating around somewhere in the back of my mind. The only way I could ever focus on it is to draw it.

mine might be a bit too vivid like i easily turn shadows or things on the ground or patterns into an image or give it a form of its own its why i struggle to sleep in the dark because i keep seeing shapes faces or my clothes on the flour turning onto a creature if i just think about it a little i can easily scare myself by imagining somebody behind me and it feels very real

No, I think people that can't see the things are just approaching it wrong. Think of a flag or a red star being printed. And it's not like it appears in my vision field, even if I have my eyes closed, I can only get to 5 averting my eyes from the place I'm trying to form my image.I can have a six easily just imagining something outside my vision field, it's even easire if I have my eyes open because it's not dark and those residues of light don't confuse me.

How do comic artists, fantasy autors, architects, clothes designers, sculptors, musicans, video game devs and such people make things happen? The ideas and creativity of entertainment products from others will brighten your own horizon of imagination, everyone has at least one thing in mind no one else could even imagine.
