All the kids shooting up their schools are on antidepressants, SSRI's in particular. They also all come from fatherless homes. Nobody over 50 wants to blame guns because literally every boomer on the planet brought their gun to school or had a friend bring theirs and show it off. They can't comprehend the idea of someone shooting their classmates. It makes sense, but it's sadly sowing the seeds for a generation of people who fear guns because of kids getting shot in schools. The pharmaceutical lobby is more than 10x bigger than civil rights activists for guns like the NRA, so they'll never be blamed, especially when every other commercial on the news networks are for some type of medicine.
