I've mentioned in the past that I really wanted to get a degree in math, and I've also mentioned that the best part of university lectures is listening the opinions of the lecturers which transcend that which is in the textbook. I went to a differential geometry class yesterday. It was 100% obvious that the teacher doesn't know shit about it, and that he is just copying from the textbook. Therefore, by being in the fake university, I am being deprived of the exact thing I wanted to go to school for: the opinions and comments of the experts which do not appear in the text.
