Do people (mainly Boomers) in other countries moan about how soon Christmas-related items are available in shops? Every fucking September I have to hear multiple Boomers say "I went to Waitrose and you'll never guess what! They had Christmas decorations! In September!"

It has been this way my entire life and while I hate that Christmas has become a quarter year long fest of rampant consumerism, the boomers banging on about how soon the Christmas decorations are available in shops (and pretending that it is a new thing) is way more annoying than what they are complaining about
