sorta. back in the day when you died you'd leave a corpse on the ground that lasted some set amount of time. at some point gold sellers started abusing this to spell out ads with dead bodies as blizzard got better at banning them for advertising in chat. in response blizzard changed it so that each person can only leave 1 corpse. with classic on the horizon blizzard announced that classic will use the new corpse system to people from leaving ads and swastikas.
now the boomers and /v/ are absolutely enraged that blizzard is CENSORING their game and they're not restoring the TRUE vanilla experience because there won't be corpses everywhere when a handful of people die 10 times each doing something dumb so the game is actually ruined
