어 is more like an uh sound used for everything but o, sounds like er, ur, up etc, for example like turn is 턴, rough is 러프, cup is 컵
while fold is 폴드, roll is 롤, control is 컨트롤 because the first o is more like an unstressed uh
seola is spelled with an L because as you know korean given names are usually 2 syllables so it's seol-A but obviously it's pronounced as seora
I don't know what you mean by extra vowels, how else would you spell the 'wai' sound
