Terrible jobs thread.
I'll start.
>be me 18 at the time.
>been wandering the Pacific northwest for a few months after dropping out of university (a very long story involving 4 hour bus rides every day, a 7 class course load and multiple suicides infront of me)
>find myself a job at a resort as a server at their restaurant.
>mid range cabin resort with its only attractive characteristic being the mountain views.
>entire place was overpriced including the restaurant
>mostly sold burgers and overcooked steak but charged Atleast 18 bucks a plate for all of their shitty frozen food
>was my first serving job though and I just wanted it for the tips and experience so I didn't care all that much at first
>I was promised a ride to the place from where I was at the time since they were an hours drive from the nearest town.
>the morning of the day I was supposed to start the manager sends me a fucking text saying they wouldn't give me the ride anymore with no explanation
>say fuck it and stick my thumb up beside the highway cause I'm a Canadian Indian so I've been hitching since I was 10 years old
>finally get a ride from a cab driver of all people after a couple hours
>he was an absolute legend and wouldn't even accept my money when I offered
