Alucard is great, cool and awesome and just so fukkin sexy. Because he's Alucard. Him being a "vampire" isn't really part of his attractiveness. He's more like a weird-form of demon, dark-magic user to be honest. He's so vaguely a "vampire" that it isn't part of the equation is what I'm saying.
So then it's like, me answering

And then I just posted a picture of a wolf-beastman because I went to google image quick and picked one and after posting it I was like "Wait a minute, that isn't actually a werewolf because the cool thing about werewolves is that they are supposed to be representations of a primal beast inside of mankind"
