you cant expect somebody to uproot their future because you proposed to her out of worry you guys would break up. by this same logic, you should also consider moving to a trade school near her college.
you would have had the same chances of breaking up due to distance whether you were engaged or not. the ring just means it cost you more money if that does end up happening.
if you both genuinely love each other then it's not going to be an issue. are you worried you're going to find somebody else at your school and want to call off your engagement? assuming (and this is a huge assumption based on the fact that you are posting on 4chan with an egregious filename and also proposed to your girlfriend with a horrendous reasoning) you are both on the same page with your relationship it wont be an issue.
does she know you proposed to her because of the distance? do you understand how insecure this sounds? do you know how retarded you are for thinking the engagement ring somehow seals the deal? do you understand that if you break off your engagement because of distance then it very clearly wasn't meant to be in the first place? there are so many things wrong with your thought process and actions. this seems like a very hastily thrown together plan
