I don't know the value of a Kiwi dollar, but I'd say you did just fine. Personally I wouldn't go under 8 gigs of ram minimum, even on my ancient toaster, but since you aren't gaming I suppose it isn't an issue. Other than that I can't condone the use of windows 10, but I somehow doubt that you had much of an option there, so I can't hold it against you. Probably will want to get more memory eventually, but for now it should be fine.
Only other thing I can really comment on is that I didn't know that they still made computers that use PS/2 ports. It says it has a mouse and keyboard included, but you might have some trouble replacing them if they break.

They do tend to be lower quality but the main problem is that 250gb isn't much
