>>8746108ahh there was a huge drama once for people who wanted a dedicated /vn/ board that went for weeks because visual novels on /a/ "weren't anime" but they didn't want to talk to /jp/ because there was a huge autism war rivalry between /a/ and /jp/ at one point.
there isn't a /vn/ board right now so you know what mootikins had to say about that. damn pity though.
/r9k/ wasn't always the utter fucking shithole it was either, the idea of using the robot (the guy from xkcd made?) was to actually filter out repetitive replies. so on inception it was 'classy /b/' and it was actually really highbrow. its interesting because i lost interest, came back a year later because i liked /x/ more at the time and /r9k/ was all blog posts, that sucked so i fucked off and one day i came back and they all wanted to kill themselves. i've actually never seen anything like it. moot deleted /r9k/ at one point to make /adv/ in an attempt to help those losers, but then they spilled literally everywhere and shat up everything. moot eventually had to bring it back.
moot tried so fucking hard you know lol
this is also the reason that deleting /pol/ would be the dumbest fucking mistake anyone could ever make. they're not going to go away they'll probably all be here.
