Basically I slept in a bed to set my spawn point, then I decided I wanted to move the bed somewhere else, then I died before I could set my spawn again. If you don't have a spawn it just spawns you randomly in a very large area and I have no idea where my base was setup. I tried killing myself over and over to see if I could randomly spawn somewhere I recognized but that seemed hopeless in the end.
