What's wrong with eating bugs? I admit eating the shells is gross, but the insides might be good. They're just too small.
Think of crablegs, shrimp, lobster, and crawdads. People love these things and pay top dollar for them. They are quite good, I think. Of course no one eats the shell because that's gross. But the meat of these bugs is succulent and delicious.
Maybe the problem with bugs is just that they are too small, so to eat them, you have to eat their shell, which is gross. Why don't scientists come up with a way to grow insects really big? That way we can cook them in their shell, peel them, and eat them plain or with our favorite dipping sauce.
How would that be different from seafood?
