A year ago I almost killed myself and got put in a psych ward and now I have a good job and I'm actually dating a cute girl who likes me, is this actually really real

It was gradual. After the hospital I started therapy and medication, and that very gradually helped me. That was then combined with some good luck that led to where I am now. I know it won't always be good like it is now but a year ago I literally couldn't even imagine living past 2018 so im glad I'm still here
