Is it true americans brush their teeth BEFORE they eat breakfast?
I see it in movies all the time.
I've always been taught to brush them AFTER breakfast.

Brushing before breakfast has its advantages. It's more disruptive to plaque bacteria, and less erosive to tooth enamel.
OTOH brushing after breakfast gets rid of food scraps stuck between your teeth.
