I've been thinkig of fortune-telling Ids. It could be naturally developed into the tarot-cards-like thing. A system where each symbol of the Id tells nothing in particular but everything starts making sence when it's combined. It might have an occult'ish mist gloomed over all these "sacred" knowlage... and so on, and so on...
