Well if you want an explanation it's because of the great pony takeover of the internet years ago. From the sheer popularity that ponies gained being spread to every corner putting bowsette and jojo to shame, people grew to hate it because of the stigma of people that aren't little girls watching a little girls show and the sheer amount of crossovers. It took over 4chan like wildfire and a global rule banning poniposting was made. That hate never really died down with time and people still turn into screeching animals whenever they see a pony. It's retarded, but it's still there.
