>>8903541eh? it's not that thick and it's very wide so it doesn't get in the way of putting it down at all. they're essentially taped on so as long as you have a smooth case you can put it on that without any problem. the only real issues i ran into were it making my phone a bit too thick to fit comfortably in the pockets of my admittedly very tight pants and it losing its stickiness when trying to move it from one case to another
it helps a lot with holding the phone. because of the shape you don't have to grip or balance the phone at all, it just rests comfortably between your index and middle fingers at any angle leaving your thumb completely free even when holding it upside down
