It only includes certain kinds of guns: mainly semi-automatic guns. By December, only guns with a slow rate of fire will be legal to own.
But prohibition never works: anyone who wanted to do a shooting would just buy a gun on the black market. It's very unfair for law-abiding citizens in my opinion. I can respect that she wants to do something to try to prevent anything like the christchurch shooting ever happening again, but it would seem to me that she acts more than she thinks.
