More national socialist though perhaps with some Commie elements when it comes to the organization of their gov.
Honestly HK people might be better off under China who would crack down on their broken oligarchical economic system that is really making life shitty for young HK people with terrible wages and insane housing prices.
HK may feel like they have some "freedoms" but really they are also slaves under a corrupt form of western style neo-liberal turbo capitalism which really sucks and might be comparable to what you see in parts of London and SF (but maybe even worse).
I wouldn't necessarily oppose actual freedom for HK people in an ideal world because I support soverignty for basically all reasonably self-styled groups but I feel like far from being free they're just puppets of HK oligarchs and also puppets of Western imperial power who couldn't care less about them.
I also think Western reporting is biased and the % of HK people who really hate China or want whatever it is they say they want is probably severely overstated.
Lots of manipulation all around.
