Also while I doubt dog eating is that common in China I don't really see what the big deal is.
The fact that we've defined it as ok to eat, say, "pigs" but not dogs is completely arbitrary.
Animals are animals.
We could have pigs as pets and eat dogs as meat.
You're just used to the idea of dogs being pets and so its weird but thats about it.
I wouldn't wanna eat dog meat but if I was raised in a culture where it was normal or where dogs usually weren't kept as pets then I might not care.
