I think your fear of death was removed by the comfort of a familiar space with people going about their lives and posting normal nonchalant things and it made you feel like everything was ok and it's all still the same

1. Invent nanobots.

Think about it. Neurons die all the time and you don't miss them. You're still you and have the same perception of self before and after the death of the neuron. You probably lost a neuron in the time it takes to read this post. If a single neuron is killed and replaced by a nanobot that mimics its function exactly, you wouldn't notice a thing and you wouldn't have any issues with continuity of consciousness. Now just do the same thing a hundred billion times or so.
