itt we discuss the logistics of replacing cows with goats for meat consumption (but keep cows for dairy). I would like to get /bant/'s views on this thought of mine. I believe this would be a good thing since cattle raised for food contributes to a large proportion of greenhouse gases and deforestation, along with taking up lots of land that will need to be used for other crops. goats can be raised on un-arable land and places without trees i.e. mountains, also their meat is more tender and healthy. they can also be kept as pets more easily.
