On some levels some of those procedures seem rather primitive and barbaric.
In some cases the results seem almost Frankenstein-ish (for lack of a better term).
That aside I generally only have empathy and pity for the actual trans people.
The technology in most cases simply doesn't seem to exist yet to provide for them a realistic approximation of what they seem to desire putting aside the legitimacy of the desires themselves.
Its complicated stuff and I don't really know what to think about it so I just let it go.
