She told me a lot about our family that I didn't know about before, including the fact that her mother (and so forth until the n-th generation..) was Jewish.
All in all, it was a really nice conversation. I didn't even realize there was this much to know about my family.
I guess I just didn't ask enough questions before.
My mother never said anything about such things.
