You need to apply for Government Student Allowance if you are doing your studies far from home (in another city etc). You do not need to pay this money back.
If your expenses exceed what aforementioned Student Allowance can cover, then you need to apply for a Government backed Student Loan. We are still talking about at max thousands (or low tens of thousands) of euros.
If it gets too hard and you are a promising student, then please call one of those multitude of student charity foundations here in Finland. Chances are you will clear your thing with absolutely zero cost. True and genuine story.
