I don't think there is any roads going that route in the amazon, and if you plan on following the river in "a small yacht" you may as well be re-discovering the source of the nile
I have absolutely no idea what the fuck is going on with this US route, you're crossing both the desert in the west and the rocky mountains, thus crossing the continental divide, though you do end up near where I live so that's cool
if this isn't the lowest tier of shitposting, look into what is allowed where and seasonal winds if this thing doesn't have an engine, there was circumnavigations quite some time ago but if you're not an extremely experienced sailor in this, you'll die, which is really all we can hope for.
