Injustice, rampant corruption, complacency, the wealthy elites existing outside any laws while half the population can't afford either food, clothes or both. Cops and other such thugs whom the state is smart to keep happy brutalizing the peasants.
By the time the people get pissed off enough to make something of this country.. I'll be too old and complacent to care.
It's all so tiresome. It's all.. hopeless.
Not that I'm all "muh country" or whatever. Got a few regrets of my own that weigh a bit.
