I had a lot of childhood dreams, I suppose I somewhat wanted it all. I remember dreaming a lot about becoming an inventor, and about building my own house in a forest far away from urban areas. The only childhood dream I kept with me when leaving youth is to make everyone a little bit happier, to put a smile on everyone's face. If I had the same ambition child me possessed, perhaps I would've made some of my childhood wishes become a reality.

I decided to study physics thinking that if anyone is smart enough to solve the unsolved problems, then it is me, and I did solve them, but I didn't think it earn me this life I have now.

Well maybe one was to be an inventor, heh similar to another poster up here, but I was inspired by the renaissance inventors rather than a modern engineer.

Funnily as a CS major I'm actually doing something similar, but it's a long road till I have the skills to do what I want to do. And it's not a passion that's motivating me, I'd rather be an explorer, but idealism.
