well it is considered assault with a deadly weapon so you would be well in your rights to kill anyone doing this to you. I think it is a grey area but if that guy had a friend come to help him he could shoot all the guys in the video kicking him. I think even a random passer by could technically shoot the guys kicking him.

But those are gunfights where the other guy also has a gun not some scuffle outside a bar

At that close range spamming the gun might seem like a logical solution if the other guy is pointing a gun at you but if he is not and the guys are going in for a fist fight there is no point in spamming the trigger until you are out of rounds
One shot will do hell even pulling a gun is enough to get them to back down
