From what I can gather from across the internet and the few translations of some of his art, the guy's legitimately fucked up in the head in real life and the main girl depicted in most of his art is his self-insert. He's been bullied repeatedly growing up, abused by his family and has a failed love life. Most of the woman being butchered and murdered in his art are based on people he actually knew IRL.
