In finland most of the violence is done by drunks and people who have criminal back ground.
Main part over 70% of gun related violence is done with illegal weapons and from the rest, good amount is done under influence of alcohol
If you exclude suicides and illegal weapons then suddenly much feared legal weapons aren't as deadly as some would like to see them as.
Only death rate I think that would go down after total ban of guns is suicide rates.
