Well, his daughter (my auntie, and the coolest one at that) is happily married to a lovely woman who is ALSO dying of cancer, and we just got the announcement that she's gonna die any day now. To top that off, my Auntie's house also just burned down, along with all of her possessions.
So she's lost her house, she's losing her wife, she's losing her dad, and she also lost everything she owned. The entire family knows she's just gonna end it all once everything's over.
