I want to learn German so that I can translate some of the untranslated esoteric works of Aryan history.

What is the recommended way of learning German for an adult?

Get some intro german course books and work through them.

Then get an english copy and german copy of the same book and slowly work your way through the german copy while referencing the english copy. I've done that to learn french, italian, and spanish.

Uuuhhh, you're going to have to learn medieval era, possibly earlier languages if you want to get anywhere near the esoteric stuff. The German language as a whole went through a lot of reforms at different periods of time.

In all honesty, just learn Latin, Greek or Russian. The Church did a pretty good job of documenting Pagan practices in Western and Northern European lands. If you really want to be base though, learn Sanskrit.

Read a lot of German Metapedia BUT don't use Google translate, since it tends to translate certain words like "Rassenbewusstsein" (literally meaning racial conciousness) to 'racism' and 'NS' to 'nazi'. Google is bias.

If you understand a little bit of a language and understand the game, you will know what the person is talking about. Slowly your skills will get better and better.
German education is shit and I'm not a smarthead when it comes to language related stuff.

Watch movies/series in german with english subs literal no work and the brain will remember the german sound of the word while reading the english word.

Tough luck, buddy. German is a tough motherfucker of a language, especially if you grew up with a retard-proof language as English.
And the older the books get you wanna read, the more "colorful" and old-school the writing style will be, which makes it impossible to understand anything for a non-native speaker
But whatever, try Duolingo, search YT for "Learning German for Americans" or something, there's endless amounts of free, quality content.

Dude, while your intentions might be good, the level of German you'd have to speak to accomplish your task would take years if not decades, especially since it's not your native language. It would be better and easier to seek someone out who could translate these works instead of trying to accomplish it yourself. Even among linguistic scholars who translate classic literature from other languages there are substantial differences.
No offense, but a newbie isn't going to be able to do this very accurately

OP, get an english/german dictionary and maybe watch german jewtube vids with subtitles...
it's really not that hard, a lot of words are basically the same or very similar.
automobile=automobil for example.

I personally would advice someone to learn a lot of words first.
starting with words that are similar to the english word.
the grammar is fucking hard to learn
for example learning the differences between "der, die, das, des" (english:the) can be really frustrating. If you are unsure which one to use just use the word "des". If someone complains that you use "des" to often just reeeee and scream that you are a franconian

Duolingo would be a good starting point, especially the flashcards. For me Duolingo helped with my vocabulary but not much with my grammar, for that i had a german friend that tought me a lot about phrases and how to construct them. He also recommend watching TV series and playing vidya in german which got me used to hearing the language.

i began learning chinese at 25 and within a few years was able to travel china alone, speaking only chinese. nothing is hard for an aryan if they have the will do it and apply themselves.
