>>9126711>wishful thinkingThis is hope, greater than all the gifts of fortune, which is what makes this life different from hell. I'm not saying it's enough, but it's a enough for most.
> I truly believe that it’s easier for most people, they are born with the tools used to satisfy their emotional needs. idk, I think you're just generalizing. Based on my experience with meeting other aspie's, there's as many variations in characters are found in neuroticals.
I would personally say I'm not that unhappy a person. At the end of the day, when I'm coming down from whatever upper or uppers I used that day, I can have very, very depressing thoughts. However, if I probably managed my drug schedule better, (perhaps smoking weed more often when I get that depressed), I could avoid this.
I can say I know at least one neurotypical very well, and I doubt he's happier than I. He's incredibly hard-working and ambitious, but constantly has money problems, complains about not having more money, and has outright said to many times if he will kill himself if he hasn't reached some undetermined level of success after some time. He seems much less happy than I am.
>People like us can’t even identify oursIn my case, I don't mean to sound boastful, but I don't think there's a need that can be filled to make me happy, it's because of some literature I've read, and doing some thinking on my subject, I have realize that there is no need, at least in this life, to any man that, once filled, will give happiness.
