When we look back to the ancient times we can see many, somewhat hidden, links to a pedo like cult who farmed the kids almost in the same way as we see nowadays with the pedo cult.
another theory i personly have.
The behavior, to stay hidden is something one would do to keep power over the oppostion. For example on a battlefield, if the enemy doesn't know where is opponent is he can't attack him.
Said with that, we know nothing about them, we can't fight back. Basiclly, warfare strategy.

What is the best way to learn something about your enemy or, doesn't have to be an enemy, another species? Just look what we do, we take an example, put it in a new enviroument and learn about them. As i said before, we need to scale all the shit we know a little bit up, so, when i say we are basiclly a species under surveillance, than our planet is the cage and the stars are the cameras. We are not really real, more like cloned and somewhere out there, deep in the space, there is a very real species like us and the ayys learn about them through their cloned project, us.
